This is a Curacao inspired painting.

A divi divi tree growing from the island and stretches protectively over Curacao’s largest mountain, ‘the Christoffel berg’. Cloudy skies contrast the turquoise waters and subtle surrealism meets symbols that are personal to me.

While the whole scene can also be interpreted as a bonsai tree standing peacefully in a ceramic pot. Both sights suit me very well.
