However the form of this lady in the nude originally was inspired by an old Japanese matchbox, the setting in this painting became a mysterious suggestion to what the painting is not showing. I’d like to not reveal too much of what I think this painting is telling, her story sole lies in the fantasy of the viewer. This is an art print on bio-top paper, limited to 11 prints. The original is painted on soft, off-white cardboard-paper and finished plainly with two wooden rails, giving it the wabi-sabi and ‘lived’ feel that is part of my signature.
